PODCAST. Story of a local success story: the Tuffery workshop, jeans “made in… Florac”

Julien Tuffery aux commandes de l’entreprise familiale et au micro de Midi Libre.

For this new episode of Mon Territoire j’y Crois, the podcast co-produced with Crédit Agricole du Languedoc, we go to Lozère.

Today we are going to talk about a family success story.

The Tuffery family is at the helm of Tuff’s, the oldest French jeans brand, whose creation dates back to 1892 in Lozère. The brand experienced the creation of Nîmes canvas pants, the explosion in the 60s and 70s then a low point in the 90s.

But today the Tuffery workshop is back at its zenith. Julien Tuffery took over from his father and currently the Florac workshops produce 40,000 garments per year.
