Police raid operation in transport north of Montpellier

This Tuesday, April 23, the military carried out numerous checks on the road and at the exit of buses and the tram, in Castelnau-le-Lez, Jacou and Le Crès.

This Tuesday, April 23, from 7 a.m. to 10 a.m., 25 gendarmes from the Castelnau company carried out checks on the road, as well as in several sites in Jacou, Le Crès and Castelnau, in particular the terminuses tramway and the Notre-Dame-de-Sablassou bus station.

They were reinforced by eight agents from the new metropolitan transport police and the Crès municipal police.

Nearly 120 people were checked and numerous fines issued.
