Des contrôles dans les crèches seront lancés sur l'ensemble du territoire afin de prévenir tout risque de maltraitance sur les bébés et les jeunes enfants a annoncé ce lundi 25 mars la ministre Sarah El Haïry.

A new report expected

A new report from the Igas (General Inspectorate of Social Affairs) is expected, after the particularly bad previous one, which was followed by the publication of two damning investigations based on hundreds of interviews and testimonies from parents and professional actors.

Before the latter is made public, the Minister for Children takes the lead: "The findings are established, the time has come now taking action to build a quality and demanding public early childhood service, she declared this Monday on BFMTV.

Controls everywhere in France

Following the shocking revelations of the 2023-2024 school year, Aurore Bergé, Minister of Solidarity and Families, announced measures, including a strengthening of controls. "These checks are necessary, they are launched on all groups", indicated on France Bleu Sarah El Haïry. Controls will take place "across the entire territory", and large groups will be controlled, says BFM the minister.

The investigations published in September cited in particular shortcomings in the nurseries of the companies Babilou, Little Red Riding Hoods, People & Baby and The Blue House in particular. The minister insists on her desire to avoid an "Orpéa crèche affair".
