Strike movements during school holidays, over ? The minister responsible for relations with Parliament, Marie Lebec, has not ruled out "sanctuarizing" periods without strikes in transport, after the social movement of SNCF controllers which caused the cancellation of one TGV in two last weekend, in the middle of the school holiday period.

Questioned on Sud Radio about a parliamentary initiative by the Republicans which aims to allow the government to have an annual capital of 60 days of strike ban, the minister confirmed that "all options are open", since Prime Minister Gabriel Attal encouraged Parliament to take up this debate.& nbsp;

"We may wonder about the use of the right to strike when we have a public service mission"

"The question of protecting the right to strike is essential, but I believe that we can question the use of the right to strike when you have a public service mission", she argued. "What’is necessary to protect is the right to strike", replied the general secretary of the CGT, Sophie Binet, recalling that "the last government which banned the right to strike was Vichy".
