Solidarity: the beauty of the gesture on the island of the same name for two Sétois

Benoît Couderc et Julien Vaissiere vont rouler pour les Dys Mille Pas.

Ils sont à l'origine d'une collecte de fonds servant à financer du matériel pour des adolescents en situation de handicap.

Benoît Couderc and Julien Vaissiere, two firefighters from Sète, will start the "Bikingman Corsica" on May 26. For the two athletes, it will be a question of crossing the Isle of Beauty day and night, by bike, for a distance of 1,000 km and 20,000 meters of altitude difference +, all this in five days maximum .

A great sporting challenge, the two firefighters could leave it there. But their efforts will also be made for charity. Yohan Fournier, president of Dys Mille Pas, can only rejoice: « Benoît and Julien decided to open a fundraising campaign through our association so that we could finance equipment ourselves. This will involve computers, educational materials for catering and gardening, for adolescents with disabilities looking for professional projects. We wish them courage and strength, but above all we already say a big thank you to them for their united approach! »

Online collection will be open until June 2, via the Helloasso website. To participate, simply click here.
