La Mendoise, installée dans l'Ain, a créé au 1er janvier 2024 sa société Tierra Voyages et lancé son activité de travel planner (planificateur de voyage). 

If this is not already the case, who has never dreamed of making their passion their profession ? At the start of the year, Margot Gerbal decided to launch herself as a travel planner, as she loves faraway destinations and, in particular, South America. On January 1, 2024, she officially created her company Tierra Voyages, for tailor-made experiences.

"I had the chance to travel quite young, confides the 26-year-old Mendoise, based in Ain. In particular, I spent my last semester of my degree in Applied Foreign Languages ​​in Mendoza, Argentina, at the foot of the Andes. I was regularly asked: "How do you organize your trips that really suit you ?" I gave advice. I was doing research. That’s how I came up with the idea of ​​becoming a travel planner."

"May their journey be in their image"

The young woman offers three packages: the adventurer pack, with transport suggestion, accommodation suggestion, suggestion of unmissable activities and a travel diary; the tranquility pack, with the addition of a proposal for specific activities, information on the best means of transport on site and advice from Margot (visa, applications to download, general information, etc. ) ; the premium pack, which also offers a gastronomy point, an interactive Google map and the travel diary in PDF and paper version. "Each time, these are only suggestions, insists the&# 39;entrepreneur. As a travel planner, I cannot make the reservation for the clients. They can change anything at any time."

To get as close as possible to their desires and get to know them better, Margot Gerbal plans a long interview prior to her research. "The goal is that their journey resembles them, that it reflects their image. Going to South America is often an experience that you will only have once in your life. It has to be unique. I need to know if they want adventure and staying with locals, or if they prefer a five-star hotel with spa. I love outdoor activities, like hiking. But I'm not going to offer it to people who prefer to visit museums."

To create Tierra Voyages, the twenty-year-old was supported by the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of her native Lozère. "I can only thank her and, in particular, Guilhem Bonnaud. He helped me to follow all the steps, not to make certain mistakes, to choose the format, for communication, to assess the feasibility of the project…" It has therefore recently come to fruition, to the great happiness of its creator, for whom this new professional activity promises daily escape.
