Taxes: kick off this week for the income tax return, discover the deadlines and the complete calendar

This Thursday, April 11, the General Directorate of Public Finances (DGFiP) will kick off the 2024 declaration of 2023 income. We take stock of the key dates of this campaign.

The start time is approaching. From Thursday April 11, you will be able to declare your 2023 income for taxes. The deadline for completing the process varies depending on the department where you live and the declaration method you choose. 

Until when to file my taxes online ?

For online filers, the first deadline is Thursday May 23 for taxpayers residing in departments numbered 01 to 19, Ain and Corrèze, specifies the site Toutsurmesfinances. This deadline also concerns taxpayers who do not reside in France. In our region, this date concerns the Aude and the Aveyron. Residents of departments 2A to 54 inclusive, between Corsica and Meurthe-et-Moselle, will have until 30 May to complete their declaration. This date concerns the departments of Gard, Hérault, Lozère.&amp ;nbsp; Those who reside in departments between 55 and 95, as well as in the DOM, will have until June 6. In our scope, this last deadline concerns the Pyrénées-Orientales.

As a reminder, it is obligatory to make this declaration on the impots.gouv platform. Only taxpayers proving that they do not have access to the internet and are completely unable to complete the online procedure can do so. send a paper declaration.

The deadline for everyone is Tuesday May 21, 2024. If you do not live in France, you have until Thursday May 23, 2024.
