Le Montpelliérain Arthur Cazaux a remporté son premier tour au tournoi de Shangaï ce mercredi 2 septembre, sortant le Croate Marin Cilic.

A sacred first for Arthur Cazaux. The 22-year-old from Montpellier discovered the Masters 1000 jousts this Wednesday, he who had benefited from a forfeit to be retained in the Shanghai tournament. Apparently, that didn't impress him.

Cazaux knocked out a former Grand Slam winner in the first round, Croatian Marin Cilic, 36, winner of the US Open in 2014. He won in two authoritative sets 6-4 6-4, despite a complicated start to the match.
