The Frenchwoman was beaten in two sets by the Russian Andreeva (7-5, 6-2) in the round of 16 at Roland-Garros, Monday June 3.
Varvara Gracheva, the last French representative at Roland-Garros, was eliminated Monday in the round of 16 by the young 17-year-old Russian Mirra Andreeva, 7-5, 6-2. The day after the elimination in the men's draw of Corentin Moutet, beaten by the Italian No.2 Jannik Sinner, Gracheva (88th) did not manage to continue her adventure in Paris, where she however achieved his best Grand Slam run.
