From February 24 to March 3, Lozère will showcase its assets at the 60th International Agricultural Show, Porte de Versailles, in Paris.

The International Agricultural Show, which was visited by nearly 600,000 visitors in 2023, is an unmissable event for Lozère. It helps to raise awareness of the region’s players and products of excellence through ambassadors. The department returns for this 60th edition with its traditional partners: the Chamber of Agriculture, the Departmental Tourism Committee and Lozère development.

This year, the department's stand will once again use the concept of the collective pavilion which allows all exhibitors to be brought together in the same space. This stand will be located in hall 7.1 in the Occitanie-Pyrénées-Méditionranée regional space, a hall dedicated to the regions of France. The Lozère pavilion, aisle K, stand n° 069, will promote a territory combining terroir, creativity and entrepreneurship. This Lozère collective space will be inaugurated on Tuesday February 27, at 2 p.m.

The Lozère area will be easily identifiable, with a stand and a terrace dressed in the colors of the department. It will be divided into two complementary spaces: a sales area for producers, a terrace for visitors and events.

Eight producers

Eight Lozerian producers will be honored during this 2024 edition, in the collective space of the department.
Six producers will return to showcase their specialties: the Lozère brewery la 48, the Ressouche farm, the Mas Del Mietch, the Clef de fer, the Saveurs du Teil biscuit factory and Nadia Vidal.

The stand will welcome two new exhibitors: Délices de Mary and Boulevard des thés maison Olivier.
Agriculture is a pillar of Lozère. 10% of its active population works in this sector. The departmental council is alongside farmers in particular, to name only these actions, by promoting short circuits and quality sectors by setting up a Territorial Food Project (PAT) and by reducing costs of the departmental analysis laboratory (LDA).
The department also supports farmers in their installation and in the development of collective structures.
