This Alesian was released from prison and was on semi-release. This Saturday, January 20, 2024, he was driving an Audi RS3 that he had great difficulty controlling. The driver, driving at high speed, hit a vehicle in Poulx. The Audi RS3 ended its race on the roof. His driver was sentenced to 3 years in prison.

This Saturday, January 20, Rayann Z., on semi-release, left Nîmes prison. He had the very bad idea of ​​getting behind the wheel of an Audi RS3 that one of his friends had given him. Driving at very high speed (130 km/hour), the Alésien had great difficulty controlling the vehicle, crossing continuous lines and increasing his acceleration.

At  Poulx, around 4 p.m., at the intersection of Route de Marguerittes, after refusing priority to a motorist, he hit a vehicle. The motorist arriving opposite was slightly injured and the Audi RS3 ended up on its roof, in a field.

The Audi RS3 had been purchased in Germany by a man from Gard who had offered it for rental, for a few hours, at the price of 600 € , to a friend of Rayann.

One of his "colleagues" comes to denounce himself in his place. 

Placed in police custody, Rayann, who feared returning to prison, lied a lot. The father of the family initially claimed that he was the passenger in the Audi (400 horsepower). ;one of his colleagues who had rented the car was, according to his statements, the driver. The "friend" went to the police station to denounce himself. The city's video surveillance confirmed that only one person was on board this beautiful car. And it was Rayann.

"I could have done a lot of damage, agreed the Alésien who was judged this Tuesday by the Nîmes criminal court.There could have been children in the car. I apologize to the victims. I was on semi-release and I know that I have no room for error. I did not rent this car. The colleague who came to pick me up lent me this vehicle for a few hours that I was not used to driving. nbsp;Aggravating circumstances, Rayann had been drinking and tested positive for narcotics (cannabis). "The narcotics were the day before. We were at a friend's house" , specifies the defendant.

L'Alésien, aged 30, has 13 convictions on his criminal record. The prosecutor, Vincent Edel, requested 3 years in prison and the cancellation of his driving license for 4 years. " He did everything to escape his responsibilities", notes the public prosecutor. " When he is arrested, he is afraid of losing his semi-freedom, recalls Me Philippa Debureau. Since the birth of his two children, he has been trying to change his life." 

The court followed the requisitions of the public prosecutor. Rayann Z. is sentenced to 3 years in prison. He is banned from driving for three years.
