The Arena Sud de France takes up women's sport with a major attendance record in sight

The Arena Sud de France will highlight women's sport on March 24. A day in which an attendance record could be broken.

An exceptional day for sport. For the first time in France, an event will bring together all types of sport (amateur, competition, adapted, health, school, leisure) on March 24 at the Arena Sud de France and will honor the women's sport.

Intended for the general public, this day will be divided into three parts. The first will be a women's sports village highlighting a multitude of sports with demonstrations and activities in partnership with the committees and leagues as well as by Hérault Sport and the Regional Olympic Sports Committee.

Then, spectators will be able to watch a women's cross fit competition. Finally, the highlight of the show will be reached at 4:30 p.m. with the meeting between BLMA and Tarbes for the 20th day of the Women's Basketball League. For this match, the Arena Sud de France will have a capacity of 8,450 seats, which could allow Lattes-Montpellier to beat the attendance record for a women's basketball match in club in France.
