The certified Maison Sport Santé is starting new projects

Jean-Pierre Combes et le docteur Michel Dauzat portent le projet depuis sa création.

The structure has already been following 305 people for 2 years and will develop its activities.

The Maison sport santé du Lodévois et Larzac (MSSLL), supported by the Lodévois multi-sports club (COL) is preparing to experience a great year 2024 with the continuation of its efforts and new developments in the coming months . With the added bonus of a nice Christmas gift obtained on December 18: certification by the two Ministries of Health and Youth and Sports for the next five years.

A collective success

< i>"It’s a collective success. This approval proves that the work that has been done for two years is quality work", notes its president Jean-Pierre Combes who carries, with the doctor Michel Dauzat referent of the structure, a "house" which today welcomes and follows 305 people sent by professionals to take assessments and participate in activities.

With this increase in power, the MSSLL will therefore recruit a third facilitator in adapted physical activities on February 1, to be able to assume this label which commits it to carrying out regular assessments with users every six month.

For 2024, two new partners are joining forces with the Maison sport santé to offer, in addition to Nordic walking and handfit, acrobatics with the Tête en l'air association, and cycling with the VC Lodévois.

In recent months, activities have also taken place in the villages of Soubès, Le Puech, Le Bosc and Le Caylar.

< p>"To varying degrees, the results are positive. More than 30 people participated in the activities regularly, the others more occasionally, note the leaders. "We are going to undertake another operation, this time alongside France Alzeihmer, with whom we signed an agreement last September to set up action for caregivers. A meeting with them will be organized at the end of January".

Without forgetting the continuing training on cardiorespiratory arrests or first aid PSC1.
