The Cévenol Rugby Club will return to Federal 3

Despite eight successes, the RCC could not avoid relegation.

Despite eight successes, RC Cévenol finished the season in 9th place in their group. Insufficient to stay in Federal 3. Enough to leave a lot of regrets, "especially considering our second part of the championship", recognized there a few weeks ago the Cévennes manager Éric Sanchez.

A manager who has found a smile again. Last Friday, the Cévenol Rugby Club received good news, the announcement by the French Federation that it would remain in Federal 3. Nice gift for a club which is celebrating its sixtieth anniversary this year.

"It’s a real relief, don’t hide Éric Sanchez. I am very happy for the group who showed that they have the skills and the state of mind to compete in this division. We are going to keep a large part of this workforce, focus on our youth with our juniors and the return of young people who have passed through the Béziers training center."

More good news, the work undertaken by the town hall of Alès on the grounds of the Montée du Silhol stadium which really needed it…

Staff and players will thus be able to go on vacation peacefully before a resumption at the beginning of August (the championship kick-off is scheduled for mid-September) and a summer preparation which will be punctuated by two friendly matches at the end of August-beginning of September.
