INFO MIDI LIBRE.

The Edeis company retains management of the Roman monuments of Nîmes for eight years as part of the renewal of the public service delegation from November 1, 2024. A deliberation at the next municipal council on Saturday 8 July must ratify this choice.

Contract at 44 M€

Edeis has managed the arenas, the Maison Carrée and the Tour Magne since November 1, 2021. From now on, in the new contract, it will also be necessary to renovate the Maison Saurel at the Jardins de la Fontaine to transform it into a sort of cultural café or a bistronomic place. The amount of the contract amounts to 44 M€ excluding VAT.

Two other companies were in the running for this DSP. These are Culturespaces which managed the Roman monuments for nine years until 2021, but also Kléber Roussillon. The representatives of the candidates had notably visited Maison Saurel at the beginning of the year before taking the auditions. It was ultimately Edeis who won this DSP.
