The education assistant Hicham will be tenured at the Paul Dardé college

The Rectorate finally reviewed its position and heard the request of the AED and the entire educational community of the Lodévois establishment.

The news fell in the afternoon and concern gave way to satisfaction: Hicham Bouhara will be tenured at the Paul-Dardé college in Lodève, in a position of & rsquo;part-time education assistant (AED).

This is what teachers and staff asked for the second time at the rectorate this Thursday, January 11 during a one-hour walkout, braving the rain and the cold to gather at 8:15 a.m. in front of the establishment, supported by parents and MP Sébastien Rome.

"We have unmet needs and a valuable agent, exemplary in his work since the start of his first fixed-term contract six years ago, noted principal Jean-Michel Rol at the time. Replacing him, part-time, in Lodève, will be very difficult."

Since January 7 and the end of his contract, the emotion has grown to the point that this Tuesday, the teachers gathered in a general assembly voted unanimously for this news mobilization.

"Hicham is very motivated to stay in college and has not been replaced in school life", indicates teacher Pierre Prim, spokesperson for & rsquo;a unanimous educational community to keep the one who was referent of 4 6th grade classes, took care of the homework done system and was involved and trained in the PhAre system to fight against school bullying. "The establishment is deprived of an experienced and essential resource person, which degrades working conditions".
