Fourgon attaqué. An unprecedented mobilization of resources has been announced by the Ministry of the Interior to find the escaped inmate as well as his accomplices, after the attack on a prison van this Tuesday, May 14, which cost the lives of two officers and injured three others. 

This Wednesday, May 15, many prisons are blocked and a minute of silence was observed. The Minister of Justice receives the prison union at the start of the afternoon. Follow the evolution of the situation throughout the day with our live stream.

New Caledonia. New Caledonia woke up this Wednesday, May 15 after a second consecutive night of riots, denounced as "unworthy" by Emmanuel Macron, while the deputies voted in Paris for the constitutional revision of the electoral body at the origin of the anger of the independence camp. At least two people died during the night from Tuesday to Wednesday, one of whom  nbsp;by bullet.

Medical consultation. As of this Wednesday, May 15, the amount of the flat-rate participation of patient on each medical consultations, radiology and biology examinations goes from 1 to 2 euros. This increase will not be visible during the consultation but at the time of reimbursement by Health Insurance.

Olympic flame in the Pyrénées-Orientales. The Olympic flame is passing through the Pyrénées-Orientales this Wednesday, May 15.  Its route begins at 7:00 a.m. at Canigó peak and will end in Perpignan at 7:20 p.m.

Audiovisual reform. Since this Tuesday, May 14, 2024, the bill "relating to the reform of public broadcasting and audiovisual sovereignty" will be studied by the National Assembly. It provides for a "two-stage rapprochement" of several companies in the public audiovisual landscape.

Application. The official ticketing application for the Paris 2024 Olympic and Paralympic Games entitled "Paris 2024 Tickets" opened Wednesday at 11 a.m. Developed by the Organizing Committee's ticketing service provider, CTS Eventim, the application allows buyers to access their tickets, transfer them to relatives and resell them on the official resale platform , also open Wednesday.
