Mercredi 17 janvier, l'intersyndicale Transdev Nîmes Mobilité a suspendu sa grève dans les transports. Après ces débrayages, elle s'adresse aux usagers nîmois.

Pending the materialization of the verbal commitments of Keolis and RATPDev, candidates for public service delegation, the inter-union Transdev Nîmes Mobilité suspended its strike on Wednesday January 17. But employees remain vigilant about their future working conditions, the social pact and the state of the service provided to users.

In a press release, the unions addressed users: "We deeply regret having had to come to this situation of causing inconvenience. We would like to express our deep gratitude to public transport users. This mobilization was essential to ensure optimal conditions for workers, by safeguarding their social pact and limiting subcontracting to 50%, allowing them to accomplish their public service mission in adequate conditions. ;quot;

Impact on users

The employees wanted to demonstrate that they were aware of future challenges: "Beyond urgent climate and environmental issues for the protection of our planet, this action also aims to contribute to the development of the economic and social territory making public transport essential and allowing everyone a choice of mobility."

The unions were keen to emphasize that the choice of walkouts was with the sole aim of minimizing the impact on the daily lives of users: "Your understanding and support are valuable, and we assure you of our continued commitment to quality public transport, chosen rather than endured. We warmly thank our users for their patience and understanding during this period of mobilization. Together, we are building a future where public transport remains an essential pillar of sustainable mobility for all."
