A German family, who went on vacation to Heiligenhafen to admire the Baltic Sea, found themselves broken down because their electric car no longer had a battery.

A German family, who went on vacation to Heiligenhafen, in the state of Schleswig-Holstein, found themselves broken down when they returned home. They had to recharge their electric vehicle before leaving, but all the charging stations were out of service, reports moin.de.

"This is indecent"

The mother therefore decided to share the delicate situation in which she found herself on Facebook. A debate about electric cars then broke out in the comments. "We should still drive combustion cars instead of this electrical waste", we read. "It’is indecent" s’the author of the post is outraged.

Other users attempted to resolve the issue by writing to the woman to let her know where she could potentially find charging stations. The family eventually found a terminal that worked and were finally able to return home.
