In Majorca, two Dutch tourists broke the wall and television of a three-star hotel.
On the island of Majorca, Spain, a three-star hotel was trashed by a group of young people from the Netherlands. All aged 18 to 20, these tourists were staying at the MLL Palma Bay Club Resort hotel, according to the media DH Net.
This Sunday, August 4, while the staff members of the establishment were busy cleaning, they discovered a completely ransacked room. A hole had been dug in the wall in order to transform the two rooms into one. A television screen was also destroyed. The damage is estimated at 2,000 euros.
Arrested at the airport
Quickly Alerted by the management of the establishment, the police went to the airport of Majorca and arrested the gang before they flew to Amsterdam.
Appearing in court on Monday 5 August, the young Dutchmen were released on bail. However, they will not be able to leave the country without paying a fine of 200 euros per person.
