The meetings this Thursday, February 15 between the union representatives of FO and CFDT, with the management of Kéolis and the Agglo did not make it possible to reach an agreement. A strike notice has been filed. 

The meetings between employee representatives of Kéolis and the Agglo on the one hand, and management on the other, this Thursday, February 15, did not allow for any progress. #39;extinguish the anger of employees at the Sète depot. For several months, employees, under the leadership of the majority union FO and the CFDT, have been mobilized to defend the social gains of staff in the Agglo bus network that Kéolis wishes to renegotiate through the denunciation of all agreements company.

Agreements which relate in particular to working time, bonuses, taking into account seniority or even the conditions of mutual insurance and support in the event of a disability. work accident. For their part, the unions estimate that these concessions would result in a loss of around 800 euros; per year on average to employees in an inflationary context. 

Kéolis notably proposed to increase working hours to 35 hours instead of 33 hours, to freeze a specific salary progression grid negotiated under previous public service delegation. But committed to a profit-sharing agreement with the sharing of values ​​with employees. 

Strike notice starts March 26

A week ago discussions came to an end with management and the threat of a strike that could impact the Escale festival in Sète (400,000 visitors transported on board the free shuttles) had been brandished. The meetings, first with the Agglo which chose Kéolis as delegate a year and a half ago, and then with management, did not allow for ;nbsp;to positively evolve the situation.

At the end of a general meeting of employees on Thursday evening, the strike notice was overwhelmingly voted on. It will be officially filed on Monday and will run from March 26 (date of the start of Stopover in Sète) until August 16, the legal deadline for the end of the denunciation of the agreements concerned. ;

A little over a month to emerge from the crisis

"From the beginning, we haven't asked for anything more in fact, we just want to continue doing our work as we do currently, indicates Hervé Pagès, FO delegate. L'Agglo expressed its concern to us. The management gave us the same proposals as at the beginning, and there wasn't even HR. We're going in circles. Such a movement which mobilizes all trades drivers, mechanics, controllers, receptionists and even administrative staff, is a first in 20 years . "Our goal is not to annoy people or Stopover in Sète, we want to avoid conflict, but it's the only way that we have to make ourselves heard.  The ball is now in management's court. There is a little more than a month left to emerge from the crisis.
