Interprète de Charlie dans le feuilleton sétois Demain Nous Appartient, Clémence Lassalas quitte la série. Elle révèle pourquoi.

For several months now, rumors have suggested the departure of Clémence Lassalas, who plays the role of Charlie, in the series Demain Nous Appartient. The actress is also starring in the future TV film expected in 2024: Monsieur Parizot.

This Thursday, February 8, it was finally on his Instagram account that the interpreter of Charlie announced the news to his fans. "That's it, it’s time for the big departure. Time for a well-deserved break. 5 years where I had the chance to develop this character that I love so much. From a teenage pest to a confident and sensitive young woman. 5 years of pure happiness. 5 years of building myself, surrounded by extraordinary people. My second family", writes the actress.

"I needed to do other things"

"Thank you for believing in Charlie, for hating her, and for loving her. It’s thanks to you that this extraordinary adventure began. I couldn't dream of a better character to play" she continues before concluding with an enigmatic sentence: "It's not a goodbye but a simple « see you soon »", which therefore suggests a possible return of Charlie to the show .

A little later, at the microphone of Télé-Loisirs, the 28-year-old actress returned in more detail to this departure from the daily."I needed to take a breather. I've been on the series for 5 years and I had the impression of having reached a sort of loop. So much has happened for my character. I felt like I needed to do other things she explains&nbsp ; before adding that the date of his return has not yet been set.

Towards other projects

"I need to take the time to get used to a new life, to see what I want to do, where I want to go and it turns out that I have just had a new project with Parizot investigating. For the moment, it's a TV movie and we don't know if it's a pilot that will become a series. It will also change things" continues the actress.

Concerning the scenario of the Sète series, Clémence Lassalas admits to being relieved by the fate reserved for her character. "I don& I was only afraid of one thing: that they would say to me: "we needed something a little explosive, we're going to kill you". And no, they were the first to tell me if you want to come back, you will come back. That really reassured me. I'm so happy because that means they like my character.
