Around 3:30 p.m., this Monday, September 16, in Saint-Sébastien-d'Aigrefeuille, a small village in the north of Gard, a tree fell on a power line, causing an arc that ignited some plants. The Gard firefighters intervened on this disaster of approximately 1,500 m2 located near the Maurice-Privat elementary school.
Air support with two drops
This intervention required the evacuation of the 22 children and two adults who were brought to safety at the town hall. The parents came to collect their children safely.
