Triathlon: the return of the Sétois on the regional level

The Sétois led by Bertrand Venturi took 15th place.

Sète Thau Triathlon competed in the regional championship.

After a few years of absence, Sète Thau Triathlon made its return by fielding a team at the start of the D3 regional championship, the first stage of which was held on Sunday April 27 in Narbonne-Plage.

The difficult weather conditions (rain, wind, cold) forced the organization to cancel the swim and transform the event into a Duathlon, i.e. the sequence of 2.5 km of running, 20 km of cycling then 5 km of running.

Despite the cancellation of this swimming event, which was the strong point of the team led by Bertrand Venturi, the Sète Thau Triathlon ranked in fifteenth place on thirty teams. Not bad for a return.
