Two punters win a jackpot of more than a million euros at the Quinté in the same bar: dozens of players try their luck

Au PMU de Frontenay-Rohan-Rohan, deux personnes ont eu la chance de remporter de grosses sommes le dimanche 11 août 2024.

In two Quinté grids, the PMU Le Monaco bar in Frontenay-Rohan-Rohan has become a real star. On August 11, two customers won a jackpot of more than a million euros: one won 718,000 euros, the other 359,000 euros. Since this event, the bar has attracted many curious people in addition to its regulars, all hoping to have the same luck, reports FranceInfo.

“If I win, I'll sell my house, I'll leave”, exclaims one of the customers, grill in hand, who& ;rsquo;imagine already winning. Another regular player “stops working” if he wins and treats himself to a big trip with his future woman, Karine.

"We had a hard time believing it"

Élodie, another regular, keeps her feet on the ground: “I don't believe it, you shouldn't expect to win large sums. It happens, but it remains exceptional. Just 50 euros, I'm already happy".

" We had a hard time believing it, but we are very happy for these two people. One of them wants to share it with her family, it's great. “This proves that it doesn't only happen to others,” explains Ghislain Sergent, the owner of the establishment, to our colleagues. 60~/p>

Last year, only 230 PMU players won more than 100,000 euros. Ghislain also recalls:< em> “It's sure that it makes everyone dream, and we must not forget that 100% of the winners tried their luck.”
