French YouTuber Tibo InShape continues to gain subscribers, having even surpassed former leader Squeezie with nearly 19 million subscribers. A well-oiled strategy lies behind the Toulouse videographer, allowing him to reach a larger audience than his competitors.

If the content creator first became known thanks to his sports videos oscillating between bodybuilding exercises and dietary advice, his explosion is largely due to massive diversification of its contents.

An international dimension

The 32-year-old young man was particularly involved in the shorts, which are short videos inspired by TikTok, and which benefit from a spotlight accentuated on the part of Youtube, as cited by BFM TV.

He has produced some in English for better visibility abroad, a strategy which is bearing fruit with a quarter of his subscribers who are not French. The latter publishes between 5 and 10 per day. However, many accuse him with real evidence of copying content from other American YouTubers.

Topics that create controversy

Although Thibault Delapart, his real name, is now the first in France in terms of figures, its content has been controversial many times, explains RTL.

By passing through critical remarks towards people in the midst of depression, the promotion of videos showing Russian leader Vladimir Putin, cases of greenwashing, and without forgetting a strange beauty contest which made the winner Justine Becattini his current partner, the YouTuber knew how to entertain his audience.

A method, certainly questionable, which nevertheless allowed him to reach the heights of Youtube, a goal which was aimed at by the man who made himself known in 2013.
