In the past, the publicist, a former doctoral student in constitutional law, held various positions of great interest. Between 2019 and 2021, for example, he was the deputy to the head of the risk prevention office, at the prison security sub-directorate. "Supervision of the directory of particularly noted detainees – in other words the most dangerous –, management of the detention of Islamist terrorist detainees and participation in work related to national defense were your main missions", detailed the Prosecutor's substitute during her requisitions.

The magistrate born in 1987 also represented France, in 2021, with Florence Galtier, current public prosecutor of Avignon, before the Council of Europe. The Ministry of Justice was then awarded the Crystal Scales prize for its project "simplified complaint filing at the hospital for victims of domestic violence". Valéry Morron held, at that time, the position of head of the mission dedicated to good practices in criminal matters within the Directorate of Criminal Affairs and Pardons.

During this solemn hearing, Magali Espaze also thanked all the court staff, starting with Yves Gallego, its president. "I would like to publicly say how lucky I was to take on this interim role alongside you, without you ever encroaching on the skills and abilities of my partner. #39;independence of the prosecution.
