The Coupe de France match between Bordeaux and Nice, scheduled for Saturday January 20 at 5:30 p.m., was delayed by a few minutes due to scuffles which broke out in the stands before kick-off, between supporters of the Girondins and Aiglons at the Matmut Atlantique stadium.

As the Riviera supporters entered the parking lot reserved for them, several of them fought with members of the Bordeaux group North Gate.

Despite a high gate separating them, exchanges of blows took place across the way, noted an AFP journalist.

A good ten minutes of incidents

These incidents lasted a good ten minutes, requiring the intervention of CRS based outside the enclosure, who mounted the stands to separate the two warring camps.

The match started four minutes late after the Nice supporters returned to the parking lot reserved for them.
