Lors de la folle partie de Kiel contre Montpellier en quart de finale retour de Ligue des Champions, un arbitre a eu besoin de quelques secondes pour se remettre d'un tir contré reçu en pleine figure.
One of the referees of this historic Kiel-MHB, the Norwegian Lars Jorum, was the victim of a “lost ball”. In the middle of the first period of this quarter-final second leg of the Champions League (15th, 17-15), Montpellier's Stas Skube tries his luck to get back on track.
Like the majority of MHB players that evening, he ran into a bone, goalkeeper Tomas Mrvka (12 saves in total). On this save, the Czech deflected the ball which landed right in the head of referee Lars Jorum. The latter needed a few seconds to regain his place, stunned by the shock.

Three chances to equalize at the very end of the match
Mrvka subsequently became the nightmare of Montpellier residents. Trailing by ten points at the very end of the match, Patrice Canayer's men had the opportunity on at least three occasions to return to -9, synonymous with equality compared to the first match (39-30 ).
