Le match de Serie B brésilienne entre Sport Recife et Novorizontino a débuté par une action et un but insolite, mardi 25 juin.

This is called shooting yourself in the foot. Barely 20 seconds after the kick-off, the Novorizontino team opened the score without touching the ball after a nice ball from the opposing team Sport Recife, on the occasion of the 12th day of Brazilian Serie B. An error which precipitated the defeat of Sport Recife (1-2).

A bad operation for Recife

Just after the kick-off, the Recife players rotated the ball until defender Alisson Cassiano cut back for his goalkeeper. The latter had deserted his cages to come to his level. An action which gave a gag goal to be consumed without moderation.

This result allowed Novorizontino to move up into the middle of the table to 11th place while for Recife, this setback is a hard blow in the perspective of moving up to the Brazilian first division.
