Vladimir Putin is preparing to attack Europe in 2024: these worrying strategies that Russia could implement

The report from Danish military intelligence is quite alarming. He reports that Russia is preparing to challenge the countries belonging to NATO in a manner.

Defense Minister Troels Lund Poulsen even announced it before his parliament, warning on this subject. Vladimir Putin is "very likely" to use military force in 2024.

After the concerns of several countries such as Germany, Norway, Romania and Sweden, Denmark is not taking the matter lightly. 

Not necessarily a land attack but pressure on the States

But Russia cannot attack European states head-on in this way, particularly those belonging to NATO – as it was able to do with Ukraine.

It seems unlikely that the Russian president will repeat what he did previously, but according to secret service reports he could still gather a good number of military troops at the border to put pressure, suggesting a possible attack.

But it is not appropriate for Russia to attack head-on. By doing so, it would provoke greater conflict: a single member attacked forces the others to retaliate. 

According to the information collected and analyzed, Russia would rather be planning a sort of pressure on the countries. With one objective, to weaken the NATO States and their relations between them, as reported by Blick.

The real threat is more insidious

Intelligence shows that Russia will instead act in a more discreet, more sneaky manner and its action plan is clear for 2024.

It will help expand its propaganda to criticize NATO and provoke anti-Ukrainian sentiment. It also intends to finance political parties which work against European cohesion. If they come to power, countries will be less united and less inclined to come together for a common cause.

Without forgetting the cyberattacks that the country plans to increase, again according to the information collected by the services dedicated to intelligence.

Weaken and test the real power of NATO

Faced with threats, NATO has decided to organize a large-scale exercise to test the solidity of cooperation between member countries. #39;operation, called "Steadfast Defender 2024" will begin this Friday, February 9 for a period of four months. More than 90,000 soldiers, hundreds of tanks and combat planes will simulate an attack on a NATO country in order to measure its strengths and weaknesses.

The country that is supposed to attack them for this life-size simulation is not named, but it is in any case implied.

It is certain that Vladimir Putin will be very attentive to this operation and will probably try to detect the slightest flaw. With this exercise, the Alliance is testing itself, but Russia could also try to destabilize it.
