Volleyball: defeat of the Béziers Angels in the quarter-final first leg of the CEV Cup

Malgré une belle entame de match et le gain du premier set, les Béziers Angels ont chuté, mercredi soir, en Pologne, à l'occasion des quarts de finale aller de CEV Cup.

As in the two previous rounds against Porto and Red Star Belgrade, the Béziers Angels lost the first round of the CEV Cup quarter-finals on Wednesday evening. Opposed to the players of Budowlani Lodz, one of the best teams in the Polish championship, the Biterroises nevertheless took the lead at the start of the match, before cracking and finally losing in four sets (3-1).

Return match from Tuesday

An inevitably disappointing result and one that the Béziers Angels will try to overturn next Tuesday, in front of their supporters, for a highly anticipated return match. But until then, let's focus on the championship and the reception at Terville-Florange at the end of the week. With one goal: an eighth consecutive victory in the AF League.
