À l’occasion de la sortie de son autobiographie "À quoi tu sers ?", l’animateur télévision Jordan De Luxe sera présent ce mardi 28 mai à 18 heures à la médiathèque André-Malraux de Béziers.
In these pages, Jordan De Luxe, whose real name is Jordan Jean-Louis Guisnel, looks back on his difficult childhood, his journey from radio to his show on the C8 channel but also his notoriety and his hundreds of thousands of fans. ;rsquo;followers on social networks. As part of his visit to Béziers, the 34-year-old media man speaks to Midi Libre.
Of Pride
The former columnist of "Touche pas à ma poste" explains in his 304-page autobiography, published on April 24, his love for the screen. "When I was little, I wanted to be an actor. I was fascinated by television, this wonderful place where people always seemed happy, he wrote.
Victim of harassment during his youth, the host wanted to convey a message in his book: "When you want to achieve it, you can get out of it& quot;. "We can achieve this in particular with nerve", a -he continued. "But how do you get noticed when you grow up in a tiny village in Brittany ?", he even asked.
This nerve he talks about is his arrival in the world of television. "I called Laurent Baffie, he didn't want me to come, but I went anyway and then I started by being a columnist& hellip;", he explains. But above all, this rise gives him pride. "I am proud to see my father very happy with me", he rejoices.
"I’love Robert Ménard"
On the scene for several years now, Jordan De Luxe has a reputation to manage. "We don't manage it. But I am surprised when someone stops me in the street, or when someone says hello to me", he is surprised , and there is a reason for that. Behind a camera, he wears a bow tie, in everyday life he doesn't have one, that's what differentiates Jordan De Luxe from Jordan Guisnel. Today, he has more than 120,000 subscribers on Instagram and no less than 427,000 people who follow him on Tik Tok.
The choice to travel to the city of Béziers is not trivial. "I love the mayor, Mr. Robert Ménard. I received him on my show and I discovered a very friendly person, very kind, , he confides. However, this will be one of his last dates to promote his book. "It takes a lot of time and it’is very energy-intensive", breathes Jordan de Luxe. Tuesday 28& ;nbsp;May at 6 p.m., it will be possible to meet the presenter at the Auditorium of the André-Malraux media library in Béziers. A signing session will also be organized.
