While municipal police officers were carrying out a road check in the town of Restinclières, this Thursday, April 11, a motorist refused to comply and fled.

The officials chased him while alerting the gendarmes of the Lunel company. The latter immediately set up arrest systems along the route of the driver who finally stopped on his own in the middle of the road due to a puncture after violently hitting a sidewalk .

Arrested, he was placed in police custody. It concerns a 25-year-old man living in the area and who lacked insurance. He was referred to the prosecution.
