A fire started in an apartment located on the third floor of a building in Langogne

The firefighters were called at 4:30 p.m., this Monday, April 8, 2024, to stop the flames and secure the scene.

The Langogne firefighters, with the help of a compressor van from Mende, intervened in the HLM la Tuilerie residence, in Langogne, to put out a fire, on the third floor of & rsquo;a building, this Monday, April 8, 2024, at 4:30 p.m. According to initial information, a saucepan left on the stove was the cause of the fire.

Slightly inconvenienced

The building was immediately evacuated as a precautionary measure but the residents were quickly able to return to their homes. Only the occupant of the affected apartment, a 27-year-old man, was slightly inconvenienced by the flames. He was taken care of by an ambulance from Pradelles (Haute-Loire) before being transferred to Mende hospital for additional examinations.
