Acoustic concert at the Oasis Citadine this Friday, May 10: soul, jazz and folk on the program

This Friday, May 10, an acoustic concert will take place at the urban farm of the Oasis Citadine, near the Château de Flaugergues. In an intimate and rural setting, spectators will be able to enjoy a refreshment bar and a food truck.

"The three musicians who will perform are from Montpellier", says Charlotte Tonus, the co-organizer of the evening. This folk and jazz musician, known as Chamarrée, will be accompanied by Nelia Sand, neo soul author and Argol, folk singer. The ticket, at 10 euros, will be used to offer "a fair remuneration" to the artists. 

Refreshment bar and food truck

On site, spectators will be able to eat thanks to a food truck offering vegetarian and vegan Breton pancakes. A community bar serving local beer is also planned.

A guided tour of the farm

This event, which has been taking place for two years in the Oasis gardens, "raises awareness of ecological issues among a music audience",  explains Charlotte. She adds: "It’is a place that is out of the ordinary, completely out of time.&quot ;

The urban farm will be open to visitors from 5 p.m. From 6 p.m. to 7 p.m., a free guided tour of the gardens will be offered. Other dates have already been scheduled, June 14, July 12 and September 13.

L’Oasis Citadine is accessible by tram (line 1, Place de France stop), by bus (n° 9, Guglielmo Marconi stop), by bike and by car , at 87-69 rue de la Mogère, in Montpellier.
