After 15 years in real estate in Sète, she retrained as a yoga teacher

Claire Giovanelli, after spending 15 years as a real estate agent in Sète, created her yoga studio.

Before, her office was the Tardieu real estate agency, on boulevard Casanova in Sète. She went there for 15 years. Today, she still goes to the same premises, but for the past two years she has transformed them into a yoga studio.

A big leap into the void for me

Unusual and pleasant life trajectory that of Claire Giovanelli whose first passion, as much as practice, was dance. It was in 2018 that the young woman discovered yoga“which changed my outlook on life”. So she decided to get her certifications and took the plunge by opening her own studio last year. “This career change represents a big leap into the void for me, a challenging but also very fulfilling period… Making your passion your job is an invaluable opportunity but it doesn't only have advantages, especially since I'm not just a yoga and dance teacher. There is also all the work behind the scenes with the preparation of courses and workshops,”, she says.

Several types of teaching

The Sète native therefore divides her time between her yoga classes of different styles for all audiences, her home visits, in daycare centers for baby yoga and associations for chair yoga. Not to mention the training since she is currently finishing her yoga therapist “to be able to support people in difficult periods of their lives, (illness, anxiety, sleep disorders, osteoarticular problems, etc.)”.

And since demonstrations are worth more than grand speeches, she is offering an open day this Saturday, September 7 (*) with yoga from 9:30 a.m. to 10 a.m. children, from 10:15 to 10:45 chair yoga, from 11 to 11:30 yin Yang, from 6 to 6:30 yoga and dance, from 6:45 to 7:15 hatha flow and finally from 7:30 to 8 p.m., yin.
