After the resignation of the mayor of Moulézan Pierre Lucchini, Michel Verdier, new vice-president of Nîmes métropole

Le maire de Saint-Côme-et-Maruéjols se voit chargé de la délégation agriculture.

The council of Nîmes métropole, this Monday, February 26, recorded the resignation of Pierre Lucchini following the so-called wind turbine affair, from his positions as mayor and municipal councilor following validation, by the prefect of Gard Jérôme Bonet of these resignations. The council of Nîmes métropole replaced him as vice-president of the Agglo. 

Michel Verdier, mayor of Saint-Côme-et-Maruéjols, was elected vice-president to replace Pierre Luchini. He will be delegated to agriculture (portfolio held until now by the mayor of Garons Alain Dalmas), agrotourism, and intra-community relations. "It's a very strong message to the agricultural world that you are sending", declared Michel Verdier, himself a farmer, to the attention of Franck Proust, the president of ' 39;Agglom.

In addition, renewable energies, until now in Pierre Luchini's portfolio, will now be managed by Patrick De Gonzaga. 

Gaël Dupret becomes delegate for culture and traditions, the cultural portfolio having been handed over to him by Joël Vincent, heartily applauded by his colleagues for the work carried out on this subject (establishment of Paloma, work on the Nîmes metropolis jazz festival, etc.). 

Finally, Jean-Luc Descloux is given the delegation for the reconversion of industrial and urban wastelands-Marché Gare, in addition to his delegation for local know-how and rural heritage.
