Anger of farmers: portions reopened, exits recommended… we take stock of traffic on the A9 motorway

Fermée ce vendredi 26 janvier et durant une bonne partie de la matinée ce samedi 27 janvier, la circulation sur l'autoroute A9 redémarre peu à peu.

It was a historic closure which paralyzed a large part of the south of France this Friday January 26. After the mobilization of farmers, the A9 motorway is now, in large part, reopened to traffic this Saturday, January 27 at midday.

Nevertheless, some sections have not yet been reopened for the moment due to repairs and checks which remain to be carried out. It is therefore strongly recommended to find out about traffic conditions in real time, on the website www.vinci-autoroutes.com and on the X account: @A9Trafic.

Northward

In the south-north direction, the section is open from the Spanish border to exit n°39 in Sigean, but the exit is compulsory on this section. For motorists heading towards Orange, it is possible to take the highway again at Narbonne-Est, via entrance n°37.

For those traveling in the direction of Carcassonne and Toulouse via the A61, it is possible to take the highway again at Lézignan via entrance n°25. In addition, traffic is reopened on the A9 from Narbonne-Est to Gallargues where you must take exit n°26.

Southward

In the opposite direction, the motorway is open from Gallargues (n°26) to Narbonne-Est where you will have to exit. If you wish to head towards Spain, you can now take the motorway to Sigean (n°39) where the A9 is open until&# 39;at the border. To travel towards Toulouse and Carcassonne, you will need to take the highway at Lézignan (n°25).

Regarding the A709, the motorway is still open, but the exit is obligatory at Saint-Jean de Védas (n°32)
