Cap d'Agde: in the naturist village, the Vibes Resort construction site temporarily stopped following the liquidation of a construction company

Le promoteur Angelotti se veut rassurant et assure que des discussions sont en cours avec un autre prestataire, pour un redémarrage des travaux au mois de mars.

If there is a construction site closely scrutinized by local residents, it is that of the Vibes Resort. Located at the entrance to the naturist village, this building is the cornerstone of the modernization of a neighborhood that greatly needs it. A sacred achievement thought up by the architect Philippe Bonon (A + Architecture), who waited around ten years, between the moment when it was publicly mentioned in the municipal council and the symbolic laying of the first stone, in October 2022, before it can start.

The company responsible for the structural work liquidated

But while the construction site had been going well for months, everything suddenly stopped at the end of January, leaving room for all speculation, in a naturist village where rumors spread quickly, particularly about social networks.

So much so that the main promoter of the project, the Angelotti group from Béziers, associated in this matter with AJ Real Estate Promotion, from Juneyt Arikan, decided to communicate this week on the subject. Not only to deny the rumors of bankruptcy of his own company (!), but above all to inform that the work was in fact temporarily stopped following the liquidation of the company which carried out the structural work. "It’s unfortunately the life of a construction site, with many companies filing for bankruptcy at the moment”, declares Roch Angelotti, managing director of the eponymous group, on the phone this Thursday, February 8. An unfortunate setback of course, but one which does not seem to worry the entrepreneur. “We are in discussions with a new company to restart work in March,” he explains. Much ado about not much, then.
