Convention: the CCI of Hérault and Lodévois and Larzac hand in hand to support businesses

La nouvelle convention signée dans l'espace Bousquet porte sur trois ans. A.M.

The president of the Hérault Chamber of Commerce and Industry André Deljarry and that of Lodévois-Larzac Jean-Luc Requi signed a new three-year partnership for support and ;#39;help for local businesses.

The president of the Hérault Chamber of Commerce and Industry André Deljarry came to Lodève on January 24 to sign an agreement with Lodévois and Larzac and its president Jean- Luc Requi, in the presence of Mayor Gaëlle Lévêque, Vice-President for Economic Development of the community of communes Frédéric Roig and local entrepreneurs.

96% of TPE

"We want to continue working together, in a territory where 96% of companies are very small companies with less than 10 employees. We must support them in the creation or recovery of a living area which has an environmental framework and many assets to be attractive. pointe Jean-Luc Requi.

"We are as close as possible to the territories with the teams of Chambers of Commerce" adds André Deljarry who has just started his signing tour with the 16 intercommunalities of the department."Thanks to our observatory, we have defined a direct and targeted action plan with Lodévois and Larzac for local support for our businesses, whether through ;commercial activities, aid, studies to provide them with what they need for their development".

100 creations per year for 5 years

The observatory thus highlights 100 creations per on average over the last five years of small or very small structures of one to two employees compared to 60 to 70 shutdowns.< em> "This shows the dynamism of this territory where the population is also on the rise, with 0.4% demographic growth. We must be united to continue development around tourism and industry and work to reduce commercial evasion" continues André Deljarry.

A dynamic but obstacles to be removed

"The dynamic is there with business creations, more numerous business openings than the closures and' #39;arrival of new populations with greater purchasing power thanks to the production of housing" confirms the mayor of Lodève Gaëlle Lévêque. The objective is to increase the number of taxable households (30% only in Lodévois and Larzac) by providing more social diversity.

"Strengthening economic attractiveness also involves the mobility and accessibility of our activity zones, in relation to our central towns and the metropolis. We have a big deficit" notes Frédéric Roig responding to several interventions from the room. And there, there is still a lot of work to be done with transport networks or cycle paths for example.
