Death of Bernard Ducuing: the former Montpellier Hérault Sport Club player died at the age of 73

Ce mercredi 3 janvier, le MHSC a annoncé le décès de Bernard Ducuing, anicien joueur du MHSC. 

He was one of the players who participated in the first rise of the La Paillade team in D1, in 1981. Bernard Ducuing died this Wednesday 3 January 2024, at the age of 73. "To his family and loved ones, we send our most sincere condolences", written on his X account (ex-Twitter), the MHSC, the club which welcomed him from 1978 to 1984.

Iconic player of La Paillade, the attacking midfielder remained loyal to Nicollin, even after his departure from the club in 1984. Indeed, like other former players, he joined the club. #39;company of Louis Nicollin, as director of the Saint-Tropez unit for several years.

In 2015, for the club's 40th anniversary, he will return as a guest to the Pailladin stadium to kick off during the match on February 7.  During his career at MHSC, Bernard Ducuing scored 43 goals in 220 matches.
