Emmanuel Macron confirmed that he wanted to double the hours of civic education in middle school, reaffirmed the importance of the SNU (Universal National Service), which was very controversial from the outset. two years ago, or even recalled his desire to generalize the uniform in schools by 2026.

#ANNOUNCEMENT. As for new developments, the President, on the basis of an expert report, wants to regulate the use of screens by "our children". Security

#CONFIRMATION. "Clear place", "authority"… Emmanuel Macron s& #39;is posed as fighting drug trafficking by making security the second theme of his press conference. Health

#ANNOUNCEMENT. The subject has been on the table since 2019. In order to fight against medical deserts, the President wants to better coordinate community medicine and hospital care. Already, the PLFSS 2024 provides for measures. 

Without yet specifying his plan, Emmanuel Macron also announced that he wanted "to regularize a number of foreign doctors who sometimes hold our care services". Note that since January 1, recalls La Croix, around 5,000 practitioners with diplomas outside the European Union (Padhue), are pushed towards the exit, for lack of having obtained a competitive examination. 

#CONFIRMATION. Qualified as "good measure", the doubling of the medical deductible seems to be on the right path. Parental leave

#ANNOUNCEMENT. The President of the Republic announced the creation of birth leave instead of birth leave. Concretely, the classic parental leave for birth, extendable up to 3 years and compensated (up to 428 months) will be reduced to 6 months, better paid, for each parent.
