Euro 2024 handball: Sweden lodged a protest following Elohim Prandi's last-second goal for France

La Fédération suédoise a posé une réclamation auprès de la Fédération européenne de handball, a annoncé cette dernière ce vendredi 26 janvier, suite à la défaite de la Suède en prolongations face à l'équipe de France (34-30).
It is not known whether the request is likely to be accepted, but in any case, it has been made officially. The European Federation actually announced that the Swedish Federation had lodged a protest following its defeat against France on Friday in the first semi-final of the Euro handball.
The European Handball Federation confirms having received a protest by the Swedish Handball Federation following the semi-final France vs Sweden at the Men's EHF EURO 2024. This protest is now being dealt with and any updates will be communicated accordingly.

Without specifying the reason for this claim, Sweden undoubtedly made it in connection with the last goal scored by Elohim Prandi which should not have been validated according to the Scandinavians.
The Blue Miracle
The Parisian actually scored the goal to send the French into overtime against the Swedes, on a direct free throw by shifting and falling to his right.

On Sunday, the French will face the winner of the other semi-final in the final, between Denmark and the host country, Germany.
