“Even when it rains, we’re there,” laugh the diehards of Cévennes & Cars

Une poignée de passionnés a bravé les intempéries, dans la matinée de ce dimanche 3 mars, pour participer au rendez-vous mensuel des véhicules de collection, organisé au cœur d’Alès.

"Even when it rains, we are there", laughs Loïc Pérois, the president of Cévennes & Cars. "Welcome to the Gauls!", says, in turn, Bruno, an Alesian passionate about classic cars. Because, indeed, you had to be a die-hard to brave the elements and reach the Alès fairground and participate, this Sunday, March 3, in the morning, in the monthly gathering of vintage car enthusiasts.

"In the rain, it's more beautiful!", laughs the owner of a youngtimer

So, at around 10 a.m., there were a good fifteen of them. Bruno came with his Peugeot 406 Coupé, which left the factory 25 years ago and whose paintwork was a little faded. "I only take it out when it rains. In the rain, it's beautiful!", he laughs, before specifying that he also owns a 1966 Mustang, a 1976 Opel and an Oldsmobile from 1980.

When is the next gathering ?

The next meeting of Cévennes & Cars will take place on Sunday April 7, from 9 a.m. to noon, still in the parking lot on avenue Jules-Guesde. And access will once again be open and free both for owners of an old car and for visitors.
