Great first in Millau: a chocolate fair, gourmet pleasures and whiskey

Easter has not yet set the bells ringing, but the taste buds of those who love cocoa pleasures will still be celebrating in Millau. More precisely the weekend of March 2 and 3 thanks to the first edition of the chocolate, gourmet pleasures and whiskey fair. An initiative of the Rotary Club of Millau and Saint-Affrique with its 32 volunteer members.

In his note of intent to the Rotary, Jean-Louis Grimal, evokes "the new expectations of consumers in terms of food which are on authentic, natural products with a unique character but also on new sensations and a diversity of tastes. This chocolate fair will have only one objective: to please by offering to discover and taste an incomparable representation of chocolates, cocoa fruits from different continents."

Local and regional artisans

The stands set up in the Millavine village hall will highlight the know-how of local and regional chocolatiers. Without forgetting artisans of gourmet products and – same – whiskey! All will also organize tastings during the two days of the general public event.

And the weekend will be punctuated, Rotary has already announced, with various activities with a cake design competition and many other surprises. With a raffle whose draw is scheduled every two hours during the opening of the show. Obviously, who says gourmet pleasures, also says catering service with refreshment bar.

For the benefit of charitable associations

Finally, as for all the events it offers, Rotary Millau-Saint-Affrique would like to remind "that all profits made is redistributed in the form of donations to the department's charitable associations. Particularly those invested in children in difficulty, disabilities, rare or orphan diseases."
Last year we supported autism, multiple sclerosis, cancer research, the Red Cross, the smile hospital, the eradication of polio without forgetting funding decorative elements of the new Millavois EHPAD.

Price of entry to the show: 3 € (free for children under 10).
