The passenger of a TER Strasbourg-Basel was burned on his legs on Wednesday March 27, 2024 while he was quietly sitting in his seat. He ended up in the hospital.

His train took the road for Alsace, Wednesday March 27, 2024, at 7:21 a.m. precisely, reports France Bleu. The TER has just started its journey when a passenger comes to pick up the controller.

Driven to hospital

Around 7:40 a.m., the regional express train then makes an extended stop at Sélestat station. The victim is taken care of by emergency services and taken to the city hospital.

Passengers evacuated

The other passengers near the burned thirty-year-old are evacuated to other cars. The train leaves again but will stop again at Colmar station. The Haut-Rhin firefighters then took samples from the seat.
