This Tuesday, May 7, 2024, former footballer Laure Boulleau was the guest on the show "Clique" by Mouloud Achour on Canal +, the opportunity for her to confide in certain difficult moments in her life.

From footballer to consultant on Canal +, Laure Boulleau has been in the spotlight for many years now. The ex-PSG player, however, remains discreet about her private life. This Tuesday, she was the guest of "Clique", the presenter Mouloud Achour took the opportunity to question her about the hard times she had to go through, reports the magazine Télé Loisirs.

"I’was there without being there"

The one who is part of the jury of the series "At the microphone !", which should designate the future and new football commentator for Canal +, indicates having suffered psychologically, and more particularly in recent years. "Two and a half three years ago, I don't know what happened, I couldn’no longer be able to concentrate, I had lapses in my memory, I started to panic", she admits.

The one who is alongside Hervé Mathoux and Samir Nasri, explains that the broadcasts were becoming more and more complicated. "I’was there without being there. I was starting to tell myself that perhaps my days were numbered. My brain was no longer like before. I had trouble remembering the names of players, even well-known ones. The days after the shows, I was exhausted", declared Laure Boulleau to the journalist.

But the former footballer gives the reason for what affected her mental health. "In fact I was at the limit of burnout. And by wanting to do everything well, without knowing how to say no, I almost burned my head, she explains.

After numerous examinations, a neurologist gives his diagnosis on the serious symptoms: burn-out is confirmed. Medication was prescribed to her and the young woman was able to resume her life normally. However, she remains very affected by this difficult passage. "This is the first time I have spoken about it in the media", she admits.
