“I remember a knitting needle”: Line Renaud recounts the trauma of her abortion suffered at 18

"I was begging for him to change his mind, and no. The 95-year-old singer and actress returned to the consequences that this abortion may have had on her life:   "All my life, I have remembered a black staircase (…) I remember what they called an angel maker. I remember a knitting needle. I came home, and then I started getting sepsis." 

"Curetage on the dining room table"

The family doctor had to intervene to save her and performed a "curettage on the dining room table" on the young girl she was at the time, includes Télé-Loisirs. Later, she will learn that she will never have children.< /p>
