This fight against the disease began a little over ten years ago and has a strong impact on the singer's daily life, indicates Télé Loisirs.

"I still don't know what I'm fighting against"

Hélène Ségara was in front of Audrey Crespo-Mara and answered the journalist's questions, the opportunity for her to reveal the difficult life with her illness. "All started in April 2013. I was coming back from Russia where I had worked. And I woke up one morning with a curtain literally in front of my eyes, not understanding what was happening to me", she explained. "I could no longer live a normal daily life, I could no longer see my phone screen, I could no longer read, I could no longer peel a fruit", she continued.

"From there, everything went from there.< /strong> I had implants in my eyes, I had around twenty interventions, 22 in total. I was more or less stabilized, relates the singer. Although she thought the situation was improving, her state of health suddenly deteriorated. "Two years ago, everything changed again. I realized that I was really losing one of my eyes and that nothing was working anymore, she confides .
